In 2022, The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington launched the inaugural Capital Chai Awards, which honored 18 Jewish leaders under 40 in the Greater Washington region who are working to make the world a better place.

I collaborated with Shaina Colvin, art director, to conceptualize and create the visual branding for the event. Because the event recognized adults in their 20s and 30s, we wanted the design to feel exciting, bold, and celebratory. We landed on this design, combining vibrant purples, yellow-orange gradients, and rounded shapes that were primed for me to animate. We produced multiple pieces including social media posts, ads, signage, and a video introduction of the honorees that was played at the event.

I produced this video introducing the 18 Capital Chai honorees. Their content was submitted and implemented piecemeal, and I had to get creative in how to display their work, whether it was photos, screenshots, written quotes, or videos. I animated the background circular graphics, providing continuous movement and energy throughout. The video was played at the event, and afterward was posted to YouTube and shared with the community.
